The
Rules
1. Your answer should be detailed
and specific. The winning entry will be the one giving
the most exact location
of the treasure. Enter using the contest entry form or
email your guess—along
with your name, phone number, mailing address, and e-mail
address—to
scurvydog@fwpubs.com or mail your guess and contact information
on a 3x5 card to The Pirate Primer Treasure Hunt c/o F+W
Publications Inc, 4700 East Galbraith Road, Cincinnati,
Ohio 45236.
2. Every entry will be read by the judges. One winner will
be chosen at random from all entries surmising the correct location
of the pirate treasure. Judges' decisions are final.
3. The contest begins April 1, 2007. The contest ends August
31, 2007 and all entries must be received by midnight on
that date.
4. The winner will be notified by October 1, 2007. If you
have not been contacted by this date, you may assume that your entry
is not a finalist. The winner, along with the correct answer and
explanations of the clues, will be posted on our Web site by October
15, 2007.
5. Purchase of The Pirate Primer is not required to enter.
6. Employees of F+W Publications, Inc., and their immediate
families are not permitted to enter the competition.
